Wildlife, Pets, and Everything in Between
I’m Sydney — a conservationist and animal care professional with a passion for all creatures, wild and domestic. From marine fieldwork to shelter support and vet med, I bring a cross-disciplinary approach rooted in science, empathy, and hands-on experience. Whether it swims, flies, slithers, or curls up at your feet — I’m here to care for it.
From the classrooms of Blue Mountain High School to the diverse ecosystems of Indonesia, where I assisted PhD students in coral reef monitoring and data analysis, I have developed a well-rounded understanding of conservation practices. Additionally, I have engaged in projects focused on land-based species, contributing to efforts in wildlife rehabilitation and community education.
I am also proud to have completed my first professional scuba certification. I am now a PADI professional Dive Master. My goal is to integrate my knowledge of marine and terrestrial ecosystems to promote conservation strategies that benefit more than just the animals.
